Good Girl, Evil Girl and Superman

I went to a relative’s house yesterday. His little daughter gave me a drawing of a heart with the letters ‘haert’ written beneath it.

When she was going away, her father told me the drawing comes with a story. He then asked her to tell me the story. After some insistence, she agreed.

The story:

There was a good girl and an evil girl and there was Superman. The good girl was late so the evil girl married Superman and the good girl turned into a duck.

Now I didn’t know what to make of this story but I went ahead with the “Wah Wah, kya baat hai!”

  5. No. But I know the basic storyline, since its repeated an infinite number of times.

  6. Nowadays, if you watch too much Hollywood, you can easily guess the storylines of Bollywood.

  12. Disgusting?

  13. Hahahaha! Child’s imagination… nothing else. But why did the good girl turn into duck? It should have been a bad girl.

  14. Punishment for being late, that’s my best guess. I hope my father doesn’t get to hear it otherwise I’m dead meat!

  15. Kids and their world. You are bound to be baffled by their thoughts! Cute story :D

  16. Ouch!! I actually found that sad!!!

  17. Why?

  18. Cause the fact that she came up with this story means she realises, maybe just sub consciously, that the good person does not always win!!!

And, that according to me is very sad, she’s losing her innocence too early!!

Kids are supposed to believe in good and happiness, if they won’t believe in it in childhood, when will they???

  19. Aw, come on! :P
