Thank you Musharraf!

I’m disappointed. I’m baffled. I’m worried. I’m depressed. I can’t think clearly.

I don’t understand what’s going to happen to this country now. Musharraf just resigned.

I don’t care what the anti-Musharraf say. I don’t care what the media says. I don’t care that the PTV anchorman started bashing Musharraf just as soon as he heard Musharraf was resigning as his daddy. I don’t care that that b*st**d Shahid Masood is behind it.

All I want to say is “Thank you Musharraf!”

You did much for this country. I still believe you are honest and patriotic. But the most important accomplishment of yours was that you instilled into the hearts of all Pakistanis “Pakistan First!”

Even the anti-Mush are repeating your line!

The TV Channels are showing videos of political workers on the streets, distributing sweet meat (mithaiyan) among themselves, and terming them as “awaam”, trying to prove that your resignation is the best thing but I’m going to wait and see.

I’m going to wait and see how much the people can take of this nonsense. You ended the new government’s dilemma of your impeachment. Within three days, the judges must be restored.

Let’s see what new “reason” these people come up with to fool the common man.

For six years, you bore the brunt of these people’s swords. Now you are going!

Wonder who they’ll pick on now.

Pakistan Zindabad! And again, Thank you Musharraf!

“When this world favors somebody, it lends him the attributes, and surpassing merits of others and when it turns its face away from him it snatches away even his own excellences and fame.”

  1. Yes indeed ! we are surrounded by a bunch of political opportunists ! . Then again we shouldn’t loose hope we cant afford to . We need to mark this as a beginning towards establishing an effort in educating our people, empowering them to at least be able to decide what is good for them. What we see now are people plunged in uncertainties and as i said jahan lagao wahan lag jatay hain !. We are responsible to take initiatives at ground level so that such incidents are not repeated . Today its Musharraf tomorrow it will be someone else. what our people need to understand is how to embrace positivity . We have been blessed with a negative approach about everything , and in all the mayhem what we forget is to analyze the situation and to allow ‘preference’ . No one gets the bets but we can at least prefer the better over the worse.
btw I like your new theme its amazing :)

  2. True about the political workers, in fact any common man can see the pictures of Sharif brothers and Bhutto among those firing rifles and distributing sweets.

I firmly believe that Musharraf is the best thing ever happened to Pakistan ever!

  3. Yet-President Musharraf most DEFINITELY was the best thing for Pakistan. Aur yeh sab ehsaan faramosh hein.. this is how we treat a war hero? A national hero who reconstructed the entire country? My childhood was spent under the democratic merry-go-round, and personally I felt much more comfortable with this dictatorship.

Allah Musharraf ko is ka behtreen sila de.

  4. Unbelievable… Pakistan has been thrown to the dogs! We can’t thank him enough for his services to Pakistan.

    Nice theme SAWJ.

  5. Thanks. :)
You have pointed out exactly what we need!

  6. Anas, copycat, meri line chura li! :P

  7. “Jis per ehsaan karo, us ke shar se bacho!” - Hazrat Ali (A.S.)

  8. Thanks man. :)
I am really sad that nobody recognizes what he did for Pakistan. Imagine how much this would hurt him!

  9. I was trying to think k maine yeh line kahan parhi hai :D

  10. LOL! BTW, I’m deactivating this threaded comments plugin. Doesn’t go with this theme.

You need to edit your plugin css too.

  11. Nope. Bad idea!

    Will have to change CSS.

  12. Are you sure thats an authentic saying by Hazrat Ali?

  13. i was bit frustrated too, but there were very few options he had to choose from, he put himself behind and put Pakistan First by resigning… i really pray that Pakistan economy gets better as i am very wary of these politicians…

  14. My father told me about it.

  15. They were blaming their own failures on him. Now he has turned the tables on them by resigning.

Ab chhupa ke dikhayein ye log apni nakamian!

He’s leaving behind a vulture media that is going to eat these people for their deeds.

  16. I was just asking, because someone specifically told me about it. That its not authentic and is wrongly associated with him.

  17. Well it’s been true for me uptil now! :)

  18. He was a True Leader, he faced both kind of enemies, in-house and out-door.
need your comments on my blog too for Musharraf :-)

  19. Imam Ali (A.S):

“A man can live under infidelity but not under oppression.”

The economic prosperity in which this country was for almost a decade prove dot be a a bubble way before elections. And the great economist and Banker is not in the country to answer any of these questions.

But even if I assume that the country went from zero to 100, how can you ignore cases of Missing people(Dr. Afias is just one example) and other innocents who were sold for some dollars.

People in Balauchistan have hate for the rest of the country esp. Punjab. And the latest reason is Musharraf. For a second stop being selfish and think about the innocents who lost their loved ones.

    Zamanay ke Yazeed ko pehchano!

  20. Sure, I’ll drop by!

  21. How many dollars did Musharraf get for selling Dr. Afia, can you tell me? And where are these dollars?

“People in Balochistan have hate for the rest of the country esp. Punjab. And the latest reason is Musharraf. For a second stop being selfish and think about the innocents who lost their loved ones.”

Did you ever stop to think about those who lost their loved ones to Akbar Bugti? Did you ever stop to think that you are speaking the language of the media that turned Akbar Bugti, a man who talked about breaking up Pakistan, into a hero? Did you see the jubilation in Dera Bugti on this guy’s death? The media remembers that Musharraf said, “We are going to hit you from where you won’t be able to tell!” What they (deliberately) fail to tell the nation that it was said to Akbar Bugti, not the Balochi people.

People in Baluchistan have hate for the rest of the country because this hate was instilled in their hearts by our very ‘free and out-of-control’ media. What was a military operation to control insurgence in Balochistan was portrayed as a crime on humanity, the murder of common Balochis. These national traitors never told the common man about the motives of these insurgents to cause another 1971, rather they fueled the movement. And the result is what we have today.

Zamany ke Yazeed ko pehchanne ke liye zamanay ke Husain ko pehchanna paray ga. Aur Husain doosra aa nahin sakta. Is liye doosra Yazid bhi nahin aaye ga.

“A man can live under infidelity but not under oppression.”

It all depends on who you term as the oppressor, on what we choose to ignore and what we choose to exploit. It all reflects the character of our nation. Do take the saying I have posted above into consideration.

    For economy, go to http://musharrafsupporters.wordpress.com

  22. though i like Musharraf too i cant say too much coz i dont live there… lets just hope that whatever happened Pakistan benefits from it.. and that the economy improves.. its just been slipping further and further

  23. The economy was prospering under Musharraf. All those who say that it deteriorated should open their eyes and see the development in Pakistan.

(No, not you, I’m talking to the pessimists. :) )

Our opinion has been marred because we see pessimists talking about what didn’t happen everyday, ignoring what happened.

Do come to Pakistan and you’ll see… :)
    Welcome to my blog!

  24. What I don’t understand is that if there are so many people who are with the President, why is he not in power? And if the people really hate Zardari and Sharif then why are they in power?

Even though both these parties have never really done anything for Pakistan, why do they keep coming back to power?

It’s a situation which makes my head spin, I mean its democracy right, you choose who you want, why do the people always make the wrong decisions?

  25. umm sorry i should have clicked reply above but noticed too late.. and well there’s no way i can see to correct it!

  26. It’s alright. :D
Well there are multiple reasons for your questions.

    1) Our nation never learns from it’s mistakes.
    2) Musharraf’s biggest mistake was to give freedom to the media. These same vultures then turned on him. Constant maligning led to the downfall of Pakistan’s military strongman. The media, having an extremely biased attitude towards Musharraf, never showed his supporters on TV. If they did, they showed very little. These same media people made corrupt traitors like Zardari, Sharifs, Akbar Bugti and all Anti-Mush look like heroes in the eyes of people and Musharraf as the sole villain.
    3) Musharraf has many supporters but they consist of that part of the nation which likes to just sit and suck it all up without uttering a word.
    4) The people do not understand the complexity in running a nation. They only care about the problems they face. They are too lazy to move their own muscles and like to blame all on the government. The media, taking advantage of this weakness of the nation, took it upon themselves to exploit the problems faced by the nation and did not acknowledge the problems faced by the government in solving them.

  27. Woah! That just proves how unreliable anything you hear and see is!!

It seems like the only way for change is for the nation to stand up for themselves!

  28. Indeed.

They need to stand up and start questioning. It is not the job of the media to decide who is evil and who is good. They should just report honestly and leave the decisions to the people.

But our nation is too lazy and our media too crooked for things to go right.

  29. You’re quite right!

But in any case we can’t give up hope, if every individual does what they can do best, there might be some one whose deed may inspire the people, like Allama Iqbal inspired the nation ages ago! =)

  30. You are right but the problem remains that nobody is going to get up to “do” anything. :P

  31. You never know.. a miracle might happen :P

  32. A big big big miracle! :D

  33. That was the point that i was thinking imagine ur the head of ur own class and ur kicked out bt somebodielse’s idiocy and ur classmates r making a fool out of u apart from what u had done for them, its about HURTING someones faith. He had faith in his Country and People and look what he had to see….
Heard tht he even doesnt have any plans to leave Pakistan anytime soon unless they dont make him to do so….

  34. It’s like one honest student in a class full of cheaters. He did not get what he deserved. But time will make the people feel they have made a huge mistake!

  35. dude you seem too busy these days isn’t? i have been wondering that you have not posted new article …. may be you shed some light on up coming presidential election :D hehe.

  36. An article on Imam Husain (A.S.) is in the works dude! :D
Now that Musharraf is out, I don’t think I have any interest left in Pakistani politics yar. :)

  37. Dude, I don’t like your flaunting ‘Pakistan ka Khuda Hafiz’ tone man. Sure, we’re in deep shit right now but this country has pulled together in tough times before and there’s no reason to believe it won’t do so again

  38. You’re right man, sorry. Too angry at the nation right now, will be more optimistic once I cool off. :)

  39. One thing I can’t understand is why does our nation have a habit of shoving a bamboo up their bums after every few years?

  40. People have a really short-term memory. You’ll see them celebrating every freaking time the government and before you know it, they’re crying again. We’re really a confused lot who maybe do not, collectively, know and realize what is best for us.

  41. Our nation is too illiterate to understand anything and our media and politicians exploit this weakness to extreme limits.

  42. Thanks dude for adding the link to my blog… hmm, my personal blog url is http://www.ijafri.com though

  43. Okay, I’ll change it.
